Questions You Might Be Wondering About

What should I expect in the first session?
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you in, what you're hoping for, and anything you'd like me to know about your history or current experience. There’s no pressure to “get it all out”—it’s a gentle beginning where your pace and comfort matter most.

How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Some work, like Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), involves longer sessions. We usually meet weekly or bi-weekly depending on what feels supportive and sustainable for you.
Do you offer online sessions?Yes. I offer both in-person sessions in Novato and secure video sessions for those located in California.

What kinds of issues do you support clients with?
I work with adults, teens, and children navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, depression, and blocks to creativity or self-expression. I also support people who feel called to deepen their self-awareness or reconnect with their bodies in meaningful ways.

What’s your approach to therapy?
My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in connection. I draw from somatic practices, mindfulness, relational and depth-oriented modalities, and I often integrate creative or experiential work when it feels right. For those interested, I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a way to explore healing from expanded states of consciousness.

What’s your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee, unless we’re able to find another time that same week.

Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide you with a monthly superbill (invoice) to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to understand your out-of-network benefits.

Do you offer a Good Faith Estimate?
Yes. In compliance with the No Surprises Act, I provide a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs of therapy. You’ll receive this before beginning services.

How do I get started?
You can reach out through my contact page, and we’ll set up a time for a brief phone consultation. This gives us both a chance to see if working together feels like a good fit.
